He explained that “ the ultimate goal of cementation is adhesion or bonding to where there's a chemical and molecular interaction that actually allows that cement to interact with both the tooth as well as the restoration.” The session also discussed the importance of film thickness, solubility, and the role of adhesion in achieving durable restorations.
